Social Investment

The ALS Group of companies combine efforts to be able to really make a difference.  In addition to looking after the welfare of ALS’ employees, we strive to re-invest in the community.

Apart from being involved in a sports development project together with the North West University, ALS also has an annual fundraising event where funds are raised for organisations that use it to make a difference in the lives of needy members in our community. We try to stretch our involvement from aids orphans right up to the aged, and prefer a long term relationship with beneficiaries to a once off donation.

Many of the organisations ALS support use the funds they receive from us to springboard further fundraising initiatives that in the end means more funds are applied for their cause. In many cases ALS can assist with expertise and resources that would otherwise be beyond the reach of these organisations.

A recent example of ALS trying to make a difference is a Christmas clean-up action in the township of Ikageng.
